How to install Stock Firmware?
Be Careful while Flashing via Odin!
- Do not turnoff / Remove USB Cable while flashing.
- Flash Correct Firmware File; otherwise your device may become HARD BRICK means DEAD!
- Read Flashing Instructions Carefully.
What I need?
Step-by-Step Instuctions:-
- A PC or Laptop with Windows Operating System.
- Usb Cable for Galaxy Ace-i
- Odin3.v3.07.Cooperve Odin3 for Galaxy Ace Cooperve.zip (Google Drive, 472 KB)
- cooperve_0623.pit file for Odin
- Stock Firmware for your region. (Don't miss understand with Old Ace GT-S5830/L/B/T model, Our device is New Ace GT-S5830i/C/M/5839i)
- Firmware archive for GT-S5830i
- Or Get it from this website.
- Samsung Drivers for PC. Setup for Compiled Driver Disk (Samsung).exe (Dev-Host, 12.5 MB)
Step-by-Step Instuctions:-
- Connect your phone to pc via USB cable.
- Install Samsung Drivers.
- Extract Stock firmware zip file to get the .tar.md5 file named like "S5830iXXMC1........"
- Extract "Odin3 for Galaxy Ace Cooperve.zip" with WinRar, 7Zip or Windows zip file utility.
- Power off your Phone.
- Get into "Download mode" by pressing Vol(+) + Vol(-) + Power Keys.
- Open Odin3.v3.07.Cooperve.exe
- Make sure that your phone is detected in "ID:COM" area.
- Step:1 - Press "PDA" button and choose the one package firmware file xxxx.tar.md5
- Step:2 - Press "Start" button under Execution.
- Wait for some time... The flashing may take about 4 min - 5 min. The Phone will be auto rebooted after successfull flashing.
- If flashing does not start, Press "Pit File" button and choose cooperve_0623.pit file along with the Odin3 for Galaxy Ace Cooperve.
- Remove the USB Cable.
- If you are facing boot loop after flashing completed on Odin, you have to go to Stock Recovery (Volume(+) + Home + Power Key combination) and select wipe data/factory reset.
How to install ClockworkMod Recovery?
- Download and Copy CWM 5.0.2.6-Cooperve.zip (Google Drive, 1.31 MB) to SD Card
- Power off your Galaxy Ace-i
- Get into recovery mode by pressing Vol(+) + Home + Power Keys.
- Choose "apply update from sdcard"
- Select "CWM 5.0.2.6-Cooperve.zip" and confirm the action.
- Reboot system now
- Again go to recovery mode by pressing Vol(+) + Home + Power Keys.
- Now you are successfully installed CWM!

- Download and Copy Root_Cooperve.zip (Google Drive, 1.11 MB) to SD Card.
- Power off your Galaxy Ace-i
- Get into CWM recovery mode by pressing Vol(+) + Home + Power Keys.
- Choose "install zip from sdcard"
- Select "Root_Cooperve.zip" and confirm the action.
- Reboot system now.
- Now your Phone is Rooted!, Enjoy Modding!

my phone is not detected by odin. what should i do?

DeleteI was just going through this article and saw your problem. Actually I had faced this problem too and had to leave my phone for 3 months...... Accidentally though, but yes, I found a solution.
1.) Install the specific drivers from the net for the galaxy ace gt-s5830i.
2.)When you have your phone connected through the usb cable, then remove the back cover and remove the battery........Yup...That's weird but this the actual and working solution.Go On!
